Standard ride 21 miles – 415ft ascent
There is a tarmac footpath alongside the A24, but is likely to be covered in leaves for 50% of the route . Going north afterwards isn’t recommended, it’s 1.4km to the Ashington turn off and you would have to be on the A24 for about half of it. Alternative it to back-track 300m to Rock Rd along the footpath and then cross the A24 to The Hollow.
Bikes can be kept in a closed outdoor area where they are visible from the restaurant, take the wooden gate to the left of the centre cashpoint exit.
