Note there are two start points for this route, either:
Outside Hove train station (southbound platform side with ticket office) at 7pm. Contact for Brighton/Hove Group – Alison (07967 094967)
OR
Hassocks Train Station – northbound platform forecourt at 6.45pm. Contact for Hassocks Group – Gemma (07789 598540)
We’ll ride separately to Devil’s Dyke to meet at the top around 7.45pm. After refreshments (bring a picnic as the pub may be busy), there will be a group riding down to Brighton station for anyone from outside Brighton wanting to get the train home, plus a group riding back to Hassocks (where you can also pick up a train north).
Although it will be daylight until 9.15pm, PLEASE BRING LIGHTS for the ride on the way back.
The main thing to note about this ride is the uphill section for about 3 miles up to the top of Devil’s Dyke, which includes a quite a steep section. No-one will be left behind!
